
FCE pre-k student, Andrea Demecio, enjoyed the special afternoon snack of oatmeal cookies. Andrea and her classmates followed a recipe to help make the special cookies. What a treat!


FCE fourth graders work with partners to practice number forms.


FCE 1st graders are already diving into chapter books! So far, the Dog Man series has been the book of choice and they are loving it!


FCE 1st graders love Morning Bins! Research has proven that children learn through play, so today our objective was to learn to work cooperatively. The play was to design and create an object of their choice. A pizza, two castles, a dinosaur skeleton, and a mansion were the result!






Fifth graders at FCE worked in groups making place value charts with decimals. These groups not only know their way around place value, but they are creative too!





Mrs. Fisher's FCE PACE class started the day with a team building STEM activity and continued their day by learning more about themselves. At the end of the day, students presented what they learned.


Mrs. Alexander's class at FCE read a Nonfiction booklet about Emus and picked out interesting facts about them. They then used those facts to create a paragraph writing to share what they learned.



Fellowship of Christian Athletes meets each Wednesday morning before school at CCHS.

FCE second graders learned about prediction today while Mrs. Carter (our Delta State Intern) read the book "Edward the Emu".






FCE sixth graders learned how scientists and historians learn about people and cultures of the past. Groups worked together to study artifacts and make inferences about the people who left the artifacts behind.





Mrs. Alexander's second graders had fun doing an ABC order around the room activity!







FCE pre-K and kindergarten ended their reptile unit with a visit from some friendly animals.




Lakelyn, FCE pre-kindergarten student is working extremely hard tracing the letter "o". Tracing helps young students to one day master writing letters and words. Way to go Lakelyn!

Mrs. Fisher's students had a great first day of PACEat FCE! They did fun activities and began to explore what kind of learners they are.


FCE 5th Graders worked in groups to show what they have learned about photosynthesis by drawing a diagram of a plant and what it needs and produces during photosynthesis.
