Due to the potential for inclement weather the Choctaw County School District will have a virtual learning day on Tuesday May 4! All campuses will be closed!


FCE 1st graders LOVE to read! While waiting on the buses to arrive today, Rylee and Josiah got out their readers to share their stories with each other and Mrs. McKnight.



FCE kindergarten has been learning about space this week. Today they pretended to be planets while orbiting the sun!


FCE sixth graders in Mrs. Telano’s class are working so hard. They are putting the final touches on their analyzing literature skills using engaging texts from iReady.





FCE fifth graders are hard at work concentrating on doing their best on their performance task practice!


After reading "Chickens Aren't the Only Ones," FCE 1st graders classify animals as oviparous or vivparous. Through their research, students discovered many fascinating facts about different animals.

FCE 1st graders love to celebrate accomplishments in reading. Today Knox Stanford read a story aloud for his classmates to enjoy.


Becky Rosamond from the MS Department of Wildlife came to teach FCE kindergarten about frogs and toads!


FCE PreK and kindergarten had a fun time Thursday at the Council House Cafe for their Easter eggs hunt and lunch!


Pre-K had a great time hunting for Easter eggs.


FCE kindergarten is enjoying creating Easter crafts and practicing their writing skills this week!


Second Graders at FCE had so much fun having a Sonic picnic with ice cream and hunting Easter Eggs at Little Mountain last week!
