WES Robotics students began their first session in September. Students started their teamwork exercises to learn how to collaborate and communicate as a team by building VEX GoBots. They also use their creative and critical thinking skills to design robots to complete designated tasks for their VEX IQ Bots. #WeirExcellenceShines

Weir Elementary School has been recognized by the National Beta Club as being a National Beta School of Distinction for the 23-24 school year. WES held it's annual Beta Club Induction Ceremony on Thursday, September 19. Four new members were inducted this year. To be inducted into Beta Club, students must be in 4th-6th grades, have an overall average of 90 and above for last year with no grades below an 85, and have no more than 2 office referrals last year.



Bill Snyder won the drawing for Perfect Attendance at Weir Elementary School for the month of August.
